Duties and Responsibilities

The Recording Department records all real estate transactions such as all types of Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Assignments, Releases and Partial Releases of Mortgages, Powers of Attorney, Charters, Federal Tax Liens, Lis Pendens, Construction Liens, Condominium Liens, Federal Civil Judgments and Military Discharges.

Due to a change in state law, this office now only records Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) transactions that include real property.
